"Creeping Meatballism" was coined as a phrase by radio personality Jean Shepherd in an article written for Mad Magazine (
April 1957). It described an attitude exhibited by far too many of the people of today. He warned us 54 years ago. We should have listened.
LOL..I have to google it to find that article. That was pretty good. Even then having descriptives for what I call "plastic people"
